2017 Gold Nugget Drop
The MILL Amphitheater 106 Temple Street, Villa Rica, GACome out to the "City of Gold" and ring in the New Year with The City of Villa Rica! The Gold Nugget Drop will be held Sunday, December 31, from 10 p.m. until 12:15 a.m. at The MILL amphitheater! The MILL is located at 106 Temple Street. Don't miss it! The event is free and will go on rain or shine! Our headlining act is Departure-The Journey Tribute Band! VIP tables may be purchased for $30 (6 seats) until tables are sold out. To reserve a table, please call Janet Chumley at 678-785-1092 or come to Gold Dust Park located at 646 Industrial Blvd to reserve a table in person. Please feel free to bring a lawn chair, picnic basket and non-alcoholic beverages to this event. No smoking, vaping, tents or pets are allowed at The MILL. The club is made up of car enthusiasts and stresses family values and camaraderie. Club membership is open to anyone. Ownership of a classic car or street rod is not required. Fundraisers are held at each Cruise-in and all proceeds are earmarked for disbursement to local charities.Our name comes from the City of Villa Rica which was a gold-mining town two centuries ago. Golden City Cruisers is a non-profit organization registered with the State of Georgia. GCC is dedicated to raising funds for charities while generating more commerce and enthusiasm to the community.
2018 West Georgia ArtFEST
The MILL Amphitheater 106 Temple Street, Villa Rica, GADon’t miss the 9th annual ArtFEST sponsored by the Villa Rica Main Street Arts Coalition. This exciting and art-filled event will be held at The MILL amphitheater in historic downtown Villa Rica on Saturday, April 14, between the hours of 10am- 5pm. This free event will showcase the works of approximately 50 talented artists throughout West Georgia, Athens, Marietta, Atlanta and other cities. Between 2,000 and 3,000 people are expected to attend this celebration of spring and creativity. Talented artists will display and sell works in watercolor, oil, acrylics, pastels, mixed media, photography, drawing, pottery, sculpture, woodcarving and more. Bring the whole family for children’s activities, fun with caricature artists, various entertainment performances throughout the day and plenty to eat and drink.
